IMSUM

Returns the sum of two or more complex numbers in x + yi or x + yj text format.

If this function is not available, run the Setup program to install the Analysis ToolPak. After you install the Analysis ToolPak, you must enable it by using the Add-Ins command on the Tools menu.

Syntax

IMSUM(inumber1,inumber2, ...)

Inumber1,inumber2, ...   are 1 to 29 complex numbers to add.

Remarks

• Use COMPLEX to convert real and imaginary coefficients into a complex number.
• If any argument is not in the form x + yi or x + yj, IMSUM returns the #NUM! error value.
